KULL - THE SHADOW KINGDOM # 1 ORIGINAL ART BY WILL CONRAD

This is the first Dark Horse adaptation of Robert E. Howard's story about the character KULL, the barbarian atlantean that became king of Valusia.

In this story, based on the original "The Shadow Kingdom" story, Kull just conquered the throne of the great and decadent Valusia, and now is fighting to unify the kingdom and put an end on his last opposition by sieging and taking over the Iron Fortress, Count Areyas headquarter with impregnable walls. But war is not the only way to take over a fortress, and nor is it's army the only enemy to face to finaly grasp the control of the fortress.

After storming into the walls, Kull faces a ancient and bloody evil that were kept in the undergrounds of the fortress, and so his reign begins, under his might sandaled feets and over his bloody axe.

These are considered by many as the very best work by the artist to this day, and one of the best adaptation of Robert E. Howard's work.

This ORIGINAL PAGE was done in a 11 x 17 art board, and was masterfully rendered in full pencils by the artist.
